Recently named one of the “Top 100 Indie Filmmakers in the World” in the book by Action On Film’s Del Weston, Kenneth Mader is a multi-award-winning Writer-Director and skilled Cinematographer-Editor. He recently completed his debut theatrical feature film DISPLACEMENT through his Maderfilm Productions banner which stars long-time PerfectReel client Courtney Hope along with Academy Award Nominee and Golden Globe Winner Bruce Davison, Golden Globe Winner Susan Blakely, and Superman’s Sarah Douglas.The film had a Limited U.S. Theatrical Release in early 2017, is now available on VOD and DVD, and was acquired by A+E Networks for a World Broadcast Premiere on the Lifetime Movie Network in the U.S. and internationally.
Ken’s first feature film was released by 20th Century Fox and premiered on the SyFy Channel. Since then he has written and directed numerous award-winning screenplays and short films, many featuring PerfectReel actors who’ve earned Best Actor awards from major film festivals in those roles. He has been nominated into the NBC Universal and HBO Directing Fellowships, has a knack for delivering high production values on low budgets with a keen eye for lighting, performance, and working with actors.
A.L.L.I.A.N.C.E. a pilot/proof-of-concept starring PerfectReel client Sarah Carson and produced under our Big Break Package, has been taking the festival circuit by storm, with over 20 Official Selections to date and honored with numerous awards including Best Cast, Best Lead Actor, Best Cinematography, and Best Direction among many others.
